Biologique Recherche is above all a unique story of a family’s passion and expertise in beauty. Founded over 40 years ago by Yvan and Josette Allouche, a biologist and a physiotherapist, Biologique Recherche is distinguished by this powerful combination of disciplines and a visionary approach to cosmetic treatments.
Biologique Recherche has come a long way since those days. We now apply the latest clinical know-how to personalized aesthetic care, employing pure, concentrated – almost raw – ingredients and complex formulas with the rigorous original methodology that has earned Biologique Recherche a reputation for efficacy and long-lasting results.
In 2007, their son Dr. Philippe Allouche took the helm of the company as Creative Director. Biologique Recherche now has a worldwide presence and we continue to invest in Research & Development to uphold our reputation for quality.
What’s more, because we want everyone to enjoy our treatments, Biologique Recherche partners with the charity Wellness for Cancer to provide personalized treatments for people living with, or recovering from cancer.
Like the historic Biologique Recherche Ambassade on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, the West Coast has opened its first US flagship to deliver the essence of the brand’s know-how, from its proprietary skin diagnostics to ultra-personalized treatments for the face, body, and scalp, as well as the exclusive full range of retail products. The Biologique Recherche LA Ambassade is the culmination of the brand’s specialized skills, high standards and extensive experience.
The Ambassade is housed on Melrose Place in a two-story Maison. The interior architecture was entrusted to Joanne de Lépinay, a French designer who worked on the original Paris Ambassade, to bring the same Parisian spirit to the Ambassade in Los Angeles. A cozy elegant atmosphere combined with superb technical facilities offers the ultimate experience in holistic beauty.

Each space is specially designed with the treatment protocols in mind, offering a warm atmosphere, plush comfort and technical facilities. The brand's Blue, White and Gold color scheme reigns in the interiors and furnishings, with an added touch of sophistication that's pure Biologique Recherche. Our cozy single and double treatment rooms can accommodate individual sessions as well as twosomes.
